Terms of Use

These terms govern use of MetroMedX at https://metromedx.com. The website publishes general information about Flagyl, generic metronidazole, branded prescription products, alternative medicines, FDA labeling, condition-specific clinical context and lawful U.S. pharmacy access. Reading content does not create a medical relationship.

Acceptance and Scope

By using MetroMedX, you agree to use the site lawfully and understand that its information is offered for educational purposes. These terms govern MetroMedX-operated web pages and contact correspondence only. Separate pharmacies, healthcare professionals, telehealth businesses, advertisers and retailers set their own agreements for services they provide.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may stop using the site. Nothing here removes legal protections that cannot be waived or limited under applicable law.

General Information, Not Medical Care

MetroMedX is not a physician, clinical practice, pharmacy, insurance company or prescribing service. Its articles do not diagnose infection, select a drug for a particular patient, approve a refill or recommend a personalized antibiotic regimen. A public comparison table cannot assess your allergies, medicines, symptoms or risk factors.

Consult an appropriately qualified clinician or pharmacist about treatment decisions, especially before starting, stopping, substituting or combining prescription drugs. Medical emergencies require urgent medical attention, not a message through this website.

No Clinician–Patient or Pharmacist–Patient Relationship

Reading an article, submitting feedback or following an external link does not establish a clinician–patient relationship with MetroMedX. Any healthcare services obtained from an independent provider are the responsibility of that provider, subject to the law and professional standards applicable to its practice.

Product Identity and Regulatory Status

Different metronidazole products have different routes, concentrations, release characteristics, indications and warnings. Oral tablets, 375 mg capsules, extended-release tablets, vaginal gels and skin-only rosacea preparations must not be interchanged merely because the active ingredient matches. Combination medicines such as Pylera are not identical to single-ingredient metronidazole.

U.S. FDA approval, label records and guideline references may change. A DailyMed label or NDC does not necessarily prove current FDA approval, retail stock or suitability for any particular individual. A listing of an approved generic also does not guarantee a particular store can supply it.

Prescriptions, Online Pharmacies and Delivery

MetroMedX cannot prescribe, dispense, ship drugs, verify a personal prescription or resolve pharmacy orders. Lawful prescription-only products require appropriate clinical authorization and dispensing by a properly licensed provider. Guides on telehealth or online pharmacies describe checks, not guaranteed clinical approval or verified vendors.

Independently investigate an online provider’s state license, pharmacist access and prescription procedures before sharing information or paying. Do not use the content to bypass prescription laws, obtain counterfeit products or substitute veterinary or foreign products for U.S. prescription medicine.

Cost, Availability and Insurance Limitations

Retail price, discount availability, insurer benefits, pharmacy networks, package quantities, dispensing fees and stock can change. MetroMedX does not guarantee published third-party quotes, discount codes, coverage outcomes, specific merchant availability or delivery times.

A comparison between brands, generics and alternative medicines must remain clinically valid before financial questions arise. A different formulation or treatment cannot be substituted simply because a seller advertises a lower price.

Third-Party Links, Advertising and Affiliates

MetroMedX may link to independent pharmacies, commercial publishers, retailers, telehealth providers and information services. Certain referrals may produce affiliate compensation, and such arrangements should be disclosed in accordance with applicable requirements. A referral does not endorse the safety, legality, availability or quality of a product or business.

Third parties govern their own orders, privacy notices, customer support and terms. MetroMedX does not control or guarantee those independent services.

User Messages and Acceptable Use

The contact form is for correction reports, public source suggestions, privacy requests and website feedback. Do not send healthcare records, medication orders, payment-card details, malicious code, spam, forged identities or private information about another person.

We may decline to process abusive, incomplete or irrelevant messages. Sending a proposed correction does not oblige MetroMedX to accept an interpretation or provide a personalized response. The Privacy Policy describes related data handling.

Accuracy, Updates and Intellectual Property

We aim for accuracy, but medical labels, studies, treatment guidelines, approval statuses, insurance terms and services change. The date of an article or policy reflects a publication context, not a guarantee of permanent currency. You may report a suspected error through Contact MetroMedX.

Original text, design and arrangement may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Ordinary links and legally permitted quotations are welcome; do not impersonate MetroMedX, misattribute material or reproduce extensive original content commercially without an appropriate legal basis.

Disclaimers and Legal Limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, informational pages are provided without a promise that content is exhaustive, continuously current or suitable for individual medical circumstances. We do not warrant the outcome of third-party purchases, healthcare encounters or pharmacy transactions.

These statements do not exclude statutory rights or liabilities that the law does not permit a publisher to exclude. For the site’s operating scope read About MetroMedX and Editorial Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms if website features, legal obligations or publishing practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions about the terms may be submitted through our website contact form.
